Credit terms require an application for credit. To apply for open credit terms please click here for a credit application to fill out a credit application form and return it by fax to 603.727.9787 with your credit reference sheet attached. Please understand that prompt payment within 30 days is a requirement for maintaining ongoing credit. Payments received after 30 days will be subject to a late penalty charge of 1½% per month, or prorated charge. Returned checks are subject to a $30 charge. Buyer grants to Plant Nanny and Plant Nanny retains a security interest in its merchandise until full payment is made. Buyer accepts credit terms with the understanding that unpaid invoices after 90 days will be put into collection and that the buyer will be responsible for collections charges and or reasonable attorney fees.
In the event that you wish to return a product for reasons other than damage, please contact customer service within 15 days of receipt to request an RMA number. RMA assigned numbers must be included on the shipping label of each box returned. Merchandise must be unopened and in its original condition. A 10% re-stocking fee will be charged for merchandise received in good condition. Returned items that are shop worn, have adhesive price tags, are damaged as a result of poor packing or have not been assigned an RMA number will not be accepted for credit. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Acceptance of merchandise from The Plant Nanny Company shall constitute acceptance of its terms of sale. Any additional or conflicting terms from the buyer are void unless accepted in writing by the seller.
Except as expressly stipulated the seller gives no warranty, express or implied as to description, quality, merchantability, fitness for any particular purpose, productiveness, or any other matter, of any merchandise which the seller shall supply. The seller shall in no way be responsible for the proper use and service of the merchandise. Seller shall not be liable for normal manufacturing defects or customary variations from specifications. No other warranty is given, and no affirmation of the seller or its sales representatives by word or action shall constitute a warranty.
Backorders will be billed on a separate invoice and will be given priority in order fulfillment. Please indicate on your order if you prefer to have backorders cancelled.
On occasion a shipment will sustain damage in transit. It is important that you inspect the shipment upon arrival. If any damage is found, please save all packing materials and contact our customer service department to make a claim within 15 days of receipt.
The Plant Nanny Company shall not be liable for failure to deliver or for delays in delivery caused by strikes, lockouts, fires, Acts of God, inability to obtain materials or shipping space, breakdowns, delays of carriers or suppliers, government acts or regulations, or other causes beyond the control of the seller. Seller’s liability shall be limited to the stated wholesale selling price of any defective goods, and shall in no event include buyer’s costs, lost profits, or goodwill, or any other special or consequential damage.
Seller’s sales representatives and distributors are not employees of the seller, but rather are independently contracted with the seller to obtain orders for the seller’s products. All orders are subject to acceptance by The Plant Nanny Company at its home office in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
